Customized Rubber Stamps
Customized rubber stamps can be ordered online to suit your specifications. You can use these stamps for a variety of purposes. For example, you can order return address stamps that fit perfectly in the upper left hand corner of a standard envelope. If you send a lot of mail, this is a great way to get your return address on the envelopes without having to write it. Signature stamps are also popular with people who have to sign their name a lot. You can have stamps made to say whatever you want them to say.
There are different styles and sizes available in custom rubber stamps. You can order them mounted or unmounted. If you collect rubber stamps unmounted stamps are the easiest to collect and store. However if you only need one or two stamps you might as well order them already mounted. Another thing you will need to think about when ordering your custom stamp is the ink. There are stamps that come without ink and those that come pre-inked. Pre-inked stamps are also sometimes known as self-inking stamps because the ink is within the stamp. Regular stamps require an ink pad.
There is stamp ink available in every color imaginable. Years ago you could only find black, blue and red. Today, you can find all kinds of shades including pink, blue, green, yellow, orange and many more. You can even buy ink palettes that include more than one color in the same ink pad. There are also hybrid style inks like Palette Hybrid that can be used on all kinds of surfaces from paper to ceramic. When using this kind of ink on non-porous surfaces it will need to be set with ink. Stamp ink can be purchased most anywhere rubber stamps are sold.
Customized rubber stamps are popular with everyone from businesspeople to artists. There are many uses for these stamps. You may also want to experiment with artistic stamps which are basically works of art turned into stamp form. Artistic stamps are great for anyone who wants to experiment with coloring in the stamped images. Colored pencils and brush tip art markers are ideal for this purpose. Rubber stamp projects can be enjoyed by the whole family. For an easy project using your custom and art stamps, get some card stock and blank envelopes and make your very own stationery.
